Common Faults of Air Drying System in Tunnel Car Wash Machine
Oct 03 2020

● Weak wind and poor drying effect

Insufficient fan speed, blocked air inlet, dust and dirt accumulated in the air duct; loose and slipping belt, motor power attenuation; air duct leakage and aging sealing strips causing air loss.

● Fan fails to start with no response

Power phase loss, burned contactor, thermal relay overload trip; loose control circuit, faulty sensor signal, no start signal from PLC; burned motor and winding short circuit.

● Abnormal noise and strong vibration

Unbalanced fan impeller due to dirt accumulation, deformed or cracked blades; lack of lubrication and worn bearing; loose fixing bracket screws causing mechanical resonance.

● Frequent start-stop and tripping

Motor overheating and bearing seizure; circuit leakage and aging insulation; unstable power voltage and phase loss operation.

● Wind direction deviation and poor corner drying

Loose and offset air duct angle; deformed air duct and misplaced wind deflector; installation position deviation mismatching vehicle contour.

● Water dripping and water accumulation in air duct

Poor air duct sealing and rainwater backflow; blocked drain hole leading to condensed water accumulation, resulting in wet blowing effect.

● Speed regulation failure of variable frequency fan

Inverter failure and parameter disorder; poor signal line connection, unable to adjust wind speed gear.
